Usually, it is the island’s first official sanctioned facility to offer “dock diving” — a growing table tennis for dogs that percieves them sprint down some sort of dock and leap equally high or far as feasible.
“We’ve been sizzling waiting many, many years for somebody to do this, and I just, you’re certain of, thought, what the heck? Some people has done it yet, I would as well, ” owner Ellie Sirett told Global Bulletins.
“Sports collectors that are doing with this because of their dogs will want to use this to employ and start different techniques to grasp some better distances and moreover measurements. ”
The facility offers as 12-metre platform and then 15-metre tank, and satisfies the specifications of North American Diving Dogs — the very sport’s governing body.
In addition to training puppies on a quest to be major dog, it also offers laurel therapy for dogs dealing with injuries as well as swimming demonstrations.
Siertt said the new facility has drawn dog owners from all over the island, and even the Lower Mainland.
The school hopes to hold its first that they event in late August.
“It’s the kind of put on where everybody kind of goes to work together … and these are definately all encouraging each other, ” Siertt said.
